The Camping site is located in the quiet village of Aurel Vlaicu. It has a wonderful view of the mountains and has all the necessities for a calm and relaxing getaway from our daily life. From the village you can make numerous trips in the surrounding areas. Places worth a visit are: Sibiu (Bruckenthal museum) Hunedoara (Lake of Cincis and the Castle of Iancu de Hunedoara) Reterzat Hateg (Reserve of the European Buffalo) Excavations of Dacians and Romans, and many more. At a short distance is the Spa at Geoagia Bai. There are ‘great’ swimming pools with warm natural water, for the swimmers. Aurel Vlaicu has lovely fish ponds for the anglers. You might end up catching a carp or even a pike. The River Mures is also rich in fish. Camping Aurel Vlaicu is an ideal retreat with lots to offer for people of all age groups. We speak English, Dutch, German and Romanian. The Camping is open from April 15th – September 30th.
